Examples of Fraud
- Someone claims that Gbogbo will guarantee a transaction or certify a buyer or seller
- These claims are fraudulent as Gbogbo does not take part in any transaction
- Fraudster may send official looking letter with Gbogbo letter head stating that Gbogbo will guarantee a transaction. All such letters are fake
- Someone requests money for goods over payment schemes such as Western Union
- These payment methods are unsecured and there is no way to trace your money. Conduct business in this way at your own risk
- Bait items for such transactions are Flat Screen TVs, Laptops, Cell Phones, etc but can be almost anything
- The price for such bait items always seems to good to be true
- Someone asks for partial payment upfront and will then ship the goods
- Always transact for goods in person
- He says he trusts you with partial payment
- He may say he has already shipped the goods
- Deal often sounds too good to be true
